Amy’s Place . . .
Amy’s place is what is says, home to Amy who is a vibrant 34 year old young lady with learning difficulties. She lives independently in her own house in Bransgore.
Amy’s place reflects her individual needs and choices and offers her a relaxed, homely and supportive lifestyle. Amy is supported 24/7 by an enthusiastic, lively and caring team of like minded individuals who make a real difference to her life. Amy is very much her
own person and can only be described as someone that loves life and everything it has to offer.
Our philosophy for Amy is simple: To support her to embrace all that life has to offer.
In order to achieve this, Amy needs continual support, care and guidance to help her along the way. A vital aspect of her lifelong learning is being part of the local community and being involved not only with people with disabilities but also the general public. It is important to Amy that she mixes and socialises with everyone from neighbours and friends to shop keepers and everyone at the local!
Amy thoroughly enjoys new challenges and opportunities and making everyday choices is very much encouraged.
Amy likes to learn new skills and is a very positive and enthusiastic person who lives life to the full. Her caring team reflect these attitudes and enhance them in every way possible.
